Need a Babysitter or Home Alone Class?
Classes will be offered by affiliate instructors of Smart CPR First Aid at many PEI elementary/middle schools.
Affiliate instructors of Smart CPR First Aid are now offering Babysitter Course and
Home Alone Course using the Canadian Safety Council Curriculum.
Home Alone Course is for children turning at least age 10 in the current calendar year. It includes mostly safety, communication, activity tips as well as some basic first aid instruction. 3 hour class, includes a book and certificate.
The Babysitting Course is for tweens and teens turning at least 12 this calendar year. It includes a ton of information on different age levels, and how to meet a wide variety of needs of children in their care. This course focuses on developmental characteristics of young children, safety, as well as some basic first aid skills and how to be a good babysitter. Includes book and certificate. 7 hours.
